The Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) 2024-25 Scholarship

The Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) has officially launched the 2024-25 scholarship. This year, the council will be awarding $1,000 individual scholarships. FECU members who plan on starting post-secondary education in fall 2025/spring 2026 or high school seniors graduating in 2025 are eligible* to apply for a scholarship.

Scholarship applicants must be one of the following type of students:

  • Traditional: current high school or PSEO student graduating in 2025
  • Non-traditional: post high school student, current college student or those returning to post-secondary after some time off. 

Scholarship Application – All applications must be submitted no later than November 30, 2024.

*The FECU is an affiliated member of a Minnesota Credit Union Network. Applicants must be a credit union member in good standing as determined by the FECU. The student must have a separate credit union account from their parents/guardian. More information and a link to the online application are now available on the FSC website.

The Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) is a sub-committee of the Minnesota Credit Union Foundation. The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Additional notes: Scholarships are operated and awarded by The Minnesota Credit Union Foundation a third party wholly independent from Federated Employees Credit Union. Financial need is not considered in the selection of the scholarship recipients. Immediate family and household members of the Minnesota Foundation Scholarship Council are not eligible to enter. Applicants will be asked to approve that their names, words and/or photos can be used in various media to promote the credit union scholarship program. These services and incentives are provided through external third parties, entirely independent from FECU.
