If you or your family members are interested in starting accounts or loans with the credit union, please read the information below or contact us today to learn more about FECU

Who qualifies for membership? 

Membership in this credit union is open to all employees and retirees of Federated
Insurance Companies, MN/SD Equipment Dealers Association, and Federated
Employees Credit Union.

Family member eligibility is available to the Employee’s and Retiree’s:

  • Spouse
  • Children: Blood, legally adopted children and step-children.
  • Grandchildren: Blood, legally adopted grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
  • Parents: Blood, adoptive parents, or step-parents.
  • Siblings: Blood, siblings by adoption, or step-siblings.
  • In-Laws by marriage: Parents and siblings.

  • Grandchildren: Blood, legally adopted grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
  • Parents: Blood, adoptive parents, or step-parents.
  • Siblings: Blood, siblings by adoption, or step-siblings.

How do I start FECU Membership?

Become a FECU Member today! When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you as an employees, retiree, or family member eligible for membership. 

Join the Credit Union.

How do I start membership for a child? 

Request a membership application form for eligible individuals under the age of 18 by calling or emailing fedecu@fedins.com. Joint ownership with an adult is required until they are 18 years old.

How do I keep my membership?

Once a member, always a member. That means you can keep your membership at the
credit union even if you change employers, retire, or move to a new city.
