Mobile Wallet

A mobile wallet app provides fast, secure, and touch-free payment on a smart device. Once loaded to the app your FECU debit cards and credit cards can be used wherever contactless payments are accepted. Enjoy the freedom of leaving your purse or wallet at home and using the mobile wallet app to make purchases at coffee shops, concert venues, vending machines, taxis and more. 

Mobile Wallet App

Download your preferred mobile wallet app. To capture your card info, use the camera or enter your card information manually. Review and accept the terms and conditions* in the user agreement. You can choose to receive a verification code by text or email to verify your card information to protect your account. If you receive a replacement card or a new card number it will not automatically update the app.  Simply delete the previous card and enter the new card information into the app.

The verification code is sent to the email or phone number on your FECU profile. If your contact information is not correct please follow the instructions below to make changes then retry adding to the wallet the next business day. 

Update your contact information in online banking.

  1. Login to FECU Online Banking
  2. Click “Self Service” 
  3. Select “Contact Info”
  4. Confirm and edit the current email, phone number and mailing address
  5. Click “Update” to save the change

If you do not use online banking please contact us by calling 507-455-5430 or emailing the information to fedecu@fedins.com. You can create a username and password by enrolling in Online Banking

How To Pay

Mobile wallet apps can be used at millions of places around the world that accept contactless payments. To make a purchase unlock your phone then place it near the point of sale terminal until the payment has been submitted. Debit or credit payments can be done at any checkout terminal that supports this feature. 

  1. Check for the Contactless Symbol at checkout.
  2. Place a mobile/wearable device within 1 to 2 inches of the checkout terminal
  3. Follow the prompts.
  4. The payment is securely processed and authorized.
  5. A confirmation appears on the device’s screen or it will vibrate.

*Mobile wallet use requires your device to be NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled and to have the wallet app available.
